B&M Brown Bread in a can was introduced by Burnham & Morrill (B&M) in 1867, a canned version of a steamed bread made long ago by settlers in the northeast. It would have been a perfect accompaniment to their famous beans. It's distinctive molasses taste and moist flavor make this a great bread for morning toast, slathered in butter.
