Betty Crocker Homestyle Fluffy White Frosting Mix is the boxed version of the old-fashioned "7 Minute Frosting" many of us grew up on. 7 Minute Frosting had a marshmallow creme texture and taste and was a bit time consuming to make (get out the double boiler!). Betty Crocker introduced this boxed mix in the late 1950's and by 1960 it was available in Cherry, White and Chocolate flavors. The white frosting mix is still in production, fifty years later.
