Karo

Karo Pancake Syrup and Waffle Syrup

Karo Light and Dark Corn syrups were the initial products of The Corn Products Refining Company, way back in 1902. Up until that time, housewives carried their refillable jugs to the general store to be refilled from the grocer’s barrels. In 1938, Karo Green Label Waffle Syrup was introduced, a distinctly maple flavored syrup that was quickly adopted as a favorite waffle syrup.

Throughout the 20th century, Karo Syrup continued to remain popular among Americans to be used as toppings for pancakes, waffles and French toast, as well as in recipes for pies, glazes, candies, sauces, ice cream, beverages, and a variety of other dishes to add that extra bit of sweetness. Today, with the famous Karo sweetness, this syrup continues to distinguish itself as an American favorite!
