Hard-To-Find Products Since 1966
Since 1966, Hometown Favorites, Inc. has been a source of hard to find favorites. It started with helping northerners who had transplanted to sunny Florida find their favorite foods. Since then it has grown to offer more than 1000 old-time favorite foods from quality manufacturers like Lincoln Snacks products such as Poppycock and Fiddle Faddle. Everything we carry is based upon requests from our customers. If you tell us the product you're trying to find, we'll do our best to carry it. Because of our great number of requests, our products have to be limited to non-perishable, non-refrigerated food items. Many Manufacturers & Products
Due to the nature of the products we carry, such as Fiddle Faddle and Poppycock, many of them come from small manufacturers (Lincoln Snacks) with limited distribution. Other products are very regional in their distribution (coffee syrup, abba-zaba bars). While we do carry many of these products, we also carry hard-to-find products from bigger names as well. Some of these names include: Nabisco, Betty Crocker, Quaker, Campbell's Soups, and more. Our specialty is providing the flavors and brands that seem to have a hard time making it to the shelves. No matter where our products come from, they all share one thing in common - YOU'VE REQUESTED THEM!
Due to the scarcity of some of the products, we may once in a while run out of something or have longer shipping times than you might expect. We do our best to serve your needs on a timely basis, and currently, orders ship within 10 business days.
Lincoln Snacks - Over 40 Years of Quality
Around 1960 a company named Wander (known then as the makers of Ovaltine®) bought the rights to Poppycock from its creator Harold Vair. In 1967 they rolled out Fiddle Faddle, followed two years later by Screaming Yellow Zonkers. After being purchased by a company named Sandoz in the '70s, the company changed its name to Sandoz-Wander. Due to an overwhelming demand for their snacks, Sandoz-Wander built a new manufacturing facility capable of handling this demand in Lincoln, Nebraska. To this day, Poppycock and Fiddle Faddle are still made at this facility. The company's current name, Lincoln Snacks, comes from its location.
