Goobers are roasted whole peanuts covered with Nestle Milk Chocolate, which tastes the way you expect great chocolate to taste, offering a milk chocolate alternative the entire family can enjoy. Developed in 1925 by the Blumenthal Chocolate Company. Goober is a southern word for peanut, and was a natural choice as a brand name for milk-chocolate covered peanuts. Nestle acquired the brand in the 1980's.
