FALL 2004 NEWSLETTER
With Halloween
just past and the holiday shopping (and eating!) season about to
kick into high gear, we're glad you took a moment to check in with
us! It's been a fun, exciting year for Hometown Favorites –
beginning with our participation in the 2004 Academy Awards ®
Presenter’s Gift Basket, through our
new segment on
Food TV’s “Unwrapped” series (scheduled to air December 20th, 2004).
Whether you found us through the media, word of mouth or one of our
favored manufacturers, we hope you enjoy our site and store.
Our shelves are bursting at the seams – the new items you’ve
requested
through the year have us closing in on the 2000 products
mark! Keep your eyes open for the Original Snaps, Grape Licorice,
Banana Laffy Taffy,
Vlasic Polish Pickles,
Comstock Pie Fillings, Wyler’s Drink Mixes, Henri’s Dressings and
many more “hometown favorites” we’ve added this year. We’re fully
stocked on all the classic and nostalgic
candies you’re going to be
looking for this holiday season in addition to all your favorite
baking needs (Hershey’s Raspberry and Cinnamon Chips!). |
You
wanted easy, beautiful and fun gift ideas and we’ve got them by the
“buckets”! Our Gift Basket aisle is brimming with new collections of
candies, toys and containers – from our lavish Candyland tin
featured in the November ’04 issue of InStyle magazine to a true
replica of the original Radio Flyer Wagon filled with candies - one
of these may be just what you’re looking for. If you prefer to
create your own
custom gift, we’ve created an easy to follow
shopping guide for selecting candies and goodies that reflect you
(or your recipients) childhood favorites.
Order with an
eye to the calendar. We
suggest
Christmas and Hanukkah orders be placed as soon after
Thanksgiving
as possible so we can allow plenty of time for transit. Late
shoppers will appreciate thee December 22nd ordering deadline for
Christmas shipments, along with the variety of expedited shipping
options for you to choose from.
Please let us know how we can help you simplify your shopping and
increase the fun quotient of our Hometown Favorites website. We love
hearing about your Hometown Favorites!
