Whew! Can’t wait for the holidays to get here and then can’t wait ‘til they’re over! Thanks to all of the customers and friends we’ve made this past year – we hope our “hometown favorites” made the holidays a bit more fun for your family and friends.

Whether your home is blanketed in fresh snow or still surrounded by verdant green lawn, the cooler weather calls for heartier, simpler meals. Soup and cornbread seem to be a favorite at our house. Our selection of “back home” favorites has never been greater – the kids enjoy Campbell’s Chicken & Dumplings or Noodles & Ground Beef Soup, while the rest of us try some northeast favorites, Harris’ She Crab Soup, Mrs. Fearnow’s Brunswick Stew and delicious Snow’s Seafood Chowder. All can be found on our Soups aisle.

Durkee Roasting Bags on our Staples aisle is another great favorite – can’t you just smell Spare Ribs or Pot Roast simmering in the oven? These Roasting Bags and seasoning make your meal complete – all you need is the meat! Grab some Aunt Jemima Cornbread Mix while you’re on the Staples aisle and you’ve got the makings of a great meal.

We’ll soon be adding a space on our home page for new items that you can see at first glance. In the meantime, here’s a quick list – Poppycock Just the Nuts!, Clark’s Cinnamon Gum, Wispa bar, Toffifay, Mamba, McGraw’s Flat Taffy, Eagle Chocolate and Vanilla Baking Coatings, Dromedary Gingerbread Mix, Oreo Cookie Crumbs for baking, Castleberry Beef and Brunswick Stews.

In our Beverage aisle we’ve added Birch and Ginger Beers, Kentucky Nip, Sarsparilla, Green River Soda,  and Beefamato.
