1980's Candy
Just in time for Cabbage Patch dolls and Garbage Pail kids, the majority of our ‘80’s aficionado’s are just now becoming parents themselves! Raised on Muppet Babies and leg warmers, Miami Vice and Madonna, current fads were all over the place – just like our favorite ‘80’s candies. 1980’s candies went for the extreme – the mouth puckering sourness of Warheads , new gummy sensation of Gummy Bears and the intense fruity flavors of Laffy Taffy. Specialty chocolates came into their own during the 1980’s, with the introduction of several new chocolate bars including the U-No Bar and Nestle’s Milk Chocolate Bar. Lastly, in keeping with the Decade of Decadence, did you know the Nestle’s $100,000 Bar (introduced in 1966) was renamed the $100 Grand Bar in 1985? Ahhh, the 80’s….
