From a box of
Wheatena from the 50's.
1/2 c.
shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 Tbs. milk
1-1/2 c.
flour
2 tsp. baking
powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c.
uncooked Wheatena
Sift together
flour, Wheatena, salt and
baking powder. Cream shortening and sugar; add milk and beaten egg,
then sifted ingredients. Drop on a cookie sheet, or roll very thin
on a well floured board and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350°
for about 10 minutes.
